Give AskBrew reliable source material through documents, website pages, and notes.
Choose a source type
- Upload document supports PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files up to 20 MB.
- Import website crawls publicly reachable pages from one website source and reports imported or skipped pages.
- Write a note is best for concise policies, approved answers, and information that is not already published.
Processing and source status
Uploaded and imported content is parsed into knowledge sections. The source list shows processing, ready, or failed state, plus page or section counts when available.
Failed source: Use Retry when processing fails. If the source content itself is wrong, delete it and add a corrected copy.
Plan limits
Every document, website import, and note counts as one knowledge source. Limits are enforced atomically, including concurrent uploads.
- Free: 3 sources.
- Starter: 10 sources.
- Pro: 50 sources.
- Scale and Enterprise: unlimited sources.
Keep knowledge current
Edit notes when an approved answer changes. Re-import the website when published pages change. Newly added or changed sections appear on Train AI and must be trained before they are used, except answers saved from Improve, which go live immediately.
