Train and retrain your assistant

Before training

At least one knowledge source must reach Ready state. Sources that are still processing or failed cannot be trained.

Run training

1. 1Open Train AI and select Train AI.
2. 2Continue using the dashboard while the background job processes pending sections.
3. 3Wait for Training complete. If no sections changed, AskBrew immediately reports that the assistant is already up to date.

Understand training stats

• Documents is the number of document sources included in the latest completed run.
• Website pages is the number of imported pages included.
• Knowledge sections is the searchable section count.
• Last trained records the latest completed run date and time.

Test before publishing

Open Playground after training. Ask representative questions, inspect the answer, confidence, and cited source sections, then improve the underlying knowledge if the result is incomplete.
